7th National Conference on Osteoarthritis organised by the West Bengal Branch of Indian Rheumatology Association in collaboration with SOAR
Osteoarthritis is the most prevalent rheumatological disease and the second-commonest chronic disease, only behind chronic nonspecific back pain, which is also contributed by spinal osteoarthritis. It is not a disease of “wear and tear” or of elderly people only.
The Society of Osteoarthritis Research (SOAR) is the national association of doctors and scientists who treat patients suffering from osteoarthritis and research the disease, which was considered tll recent past by many to be a disease with little hope.
Our primary objective is to give relief to the patients, prevent deformity, and develop new management modalities in osteoarthritis.
The National Conference of SOAR is SOARCON which is scheduled to be held in Kolkata on the 5th & 6th of July 2025 with pre-conference workshops on the 4th of July 2025.
